Directions
to Memorial Park in Medford (Sundays):
The field, Memorial
Park, is just outside of Medford Sq. on the corner of Winthrop St (Rt
38) and Mystic Valley Parkway (Rt 16). Enter this intersection "Winthrop
St. and Mystic Valley Parkway" into mapquest.com to get directions
from your home or office.
Driving:
On
93 take exit 32 for Route 60 West and follow Rt 60 thru Medford Square,
at small rotary go all the way around and exit onto Winthrop St.
Follow to lights and cross Mystic Valley Pkwy. Field is on your
right, park on either side of the street or on side streets beyond park.
From West of Medford:
Get to Route 16 East and follow until intersection of Winthrop St. Field
is on your right.
Public Transportation:
Take the Orange line to Wellington then take bus 134, which goes right
through Medford Square. For maps, schedules or information, please see
http://www.mbta.com/schedmaps.
Directions
to Daisy Field in Jamaica Plain (Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs)
Driving:
Take Jamaicaway south over Rt. 9 and past small (Leverett)
pond. At next light, make a right onto Willow Pond Rd. and park in small
parking lot or along road. Coming north along Jway, look for Bynner
St. on right (next intersection after Perkins St.), and make left on
to Willow Pond Rd. at light.
Taking the
Bus or T:
Bus: (5 min. walk) Take #39 bus out of Copley Sq. towards Forest Hills.
#39 stops at corner of S. Huntington and Bynner St. Follow Bynner St.
0.1 miles west to Jamaicaway; Olmstedt Park/Daisy field is at intersection
with Willow Pond Rd. McLaughlin Field in JP is accessible from the #39
bus. Take the orange line to either Forest Hills or Back Bay stations,
whichever is closest to you. If coming from downtown, take the Green
E line, get off at Brigham Circle and hop on the 39 across the street.

T: (15 min. walk) Take E Green Line to last stop, Heath St. From stop
continue south along S. Huntingdon St. 0.3 miles to Bynner St. Make
a right on Bynner St. and continue 0.1 miles. Olmstedt Park/Daisy field
is at intersection of Jamaicaway with Willow Pond Rd.
Directions to Carter Park
in Chelsea (Sundays and Mondays)
The field is at
the corner of Carter St and Orange St right behind Chelsea High School.
Mapquest the field address is 200 Orange St, Chelsea. It is about a
20 minute drive from downtown Boston with light traffic, longer with
heavier traffic. Chelsea
High School is located at 299 Everett Ave. Visitors may park in the
lot on Carter Street. The softball field is behind the high school and
there is a large parking lot right at the gates to the field.
Walking Directions from Chelsea Commuter Rail:
* Walking to Chelsea High from the rail takes approx. 10mins. .
* Walk North on 6th Street until Spruce Street.
* Turn left on Spruce Street until Beech Street.
* Turn Right on Beech Street and follow it to the end.
* Make Left on Carter Street and you will see Chelsea High on your right.
Bus Directions from Chelsea Commuter Rail:
* Walk approx. 1 block SE on 6th Street.
* Turn right on Washington Ave.
* Walk a short distance S on Washington Ave.
* Bus Service 112 Wellington Admirals Hill Soldiers Home
* Depart from Washington Ave & Chestnut St
* Arrive at Everett Ave & Carter St
Driving
Directions from Boston - Take 93 North to Exit 27 on the left
(Rt 1 North towards Tobin Bridge/Revere). Take the exit on the right
towad East Boston/Chelsea Waterfront. Merge onto Chestnut St. Turn left
at 3rd Street. Take a right onto Everett Ave, then take a right onto
Carter St. The parking lot is under the overpass on Carter St I think
just before you hit Orange St.
Directions
to Billings Field in West Roxbury :
The field is at
the corner of LaGrange Street and Centre Street in West Roxbury.
Driving:
From Boston:
* From Huntington
Avenue at Northeastern University, follow Huntington away from
Boston for 1.6 miles
* Turn LEFT onto S HUNTINGTON AVE, proceed 0.88 miles
* Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto CENTRE ST. Pass through 2 roundabouts.
* After 4 miles, at the corner of LaGrange Street and Centre Street
in West Roxbury, is Billings Field.
From Cleveland
Circle:
Take Chestnut Hill Ave. to Rt. 9. Cross over Rt. 9. Take left &
immediate right onto Lee St. Take Lee St. to end (turns into Clyde St.).
Take right at light onto Newton St. Bear Left at Exxon station (turns
into Grove St.). Take next Left onto Allandale Rd. (Walnut Hills Cemetery
on Corner), Take Allandale to end. (Faulkner Hospital on left). At end/light,
take right onto Centre St., At Mobile Station, go straight through lights,
staying on Centre St. (DO NOT bear right onto VFW Pkwy). At Rotary,
(Holy Name Church on right), take 2nd right to stay on Centre St. Follow
for 8/10 miles, and you will see light poles for field behind stores.
There are several open gates along here, so you can park on Centre or
any side street. OR turn left onto LaGrange and start looking for parking.
From Route
95: take Exit 18, GREAT PLAIN AVE toward DEDHAM/ W. ROXBURY.
* Very shortly GREAT PLAIN AVE becomes NEEDHAM ST
* In about a mile, slight right to stay on NEEDHAM ST
* In 1/2 mile, Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto BRIDGE ST/ MA-109.
* MA-109 becomes SPRING ST and in 3/4 miles, SPRING ST becomes CENTRE
ST
* You'll come to the field when Centre Street hits Lagrange
From Washington
Street (from Roslindale Square)
* Drive down Washington. When you get to the Burger King that is at
the corner of Enneking Parkway/Turtle Pond Parkway-STAY STRAIGHT.
* The light after the Burger King is Lagrange Street. Make a RIGHT.
* Billings Field is 0.8 mi. down on the right. Just after the park is
West Roxbury Parkway.
From Washington Street (coming from Route 1/1A - Dedham)
* Go north on Washington Street
* Make a LEFT on to Lagrange.
* Billings is 0.8 mi down on the RIGHT, just before West Roxbury Parkway.
From Newton:
on Dedham Street, take a left onto VFW Parkway and a right onto LaGrange
Street. Follow LaGrange across VFW Parkway, and continue to Centre Street
intersection. Cross the Centre Street intersection. Billings field is
on your left.
From Brookline: take Brookline Avenue past the Hospitals
to the Riverway. Turn left onto the Riverway and then follow the Riverway/Jamaicaway
past Jamaica Pond. Go straight through the first rotary towards Dedham/Providence.
At the next rotary, take first Right onto Centre St. and pass Faulkner
Hospital (on your Right). Continue on Centre Street (not VFW Parkway
which bears right) until you get to Billings Field or turn left onto
Lagrange for parking.
Public transportation
(go to www.mbta.com for times):
Train: Take Commuter
Rail Needham Line to Highland Station and go left on Park St, then right
on March Ave and Billings Field is in front of you. Or, take the same
Commuter Rial Needham line but get off at the West Roxbury stop on Lagrange
and walk 1/4 mile down lagrange (crossing Centre St) to the field.
Bus: Take the Orange
line to Forest Hills station, then take the #36 or #37 bus to the Corner
of Centre St and Lagrange and the field is on that corner.
Directions
to M Street Field in Southie & Sponsor Bar:
The field is at
the corner of M Street and East First Street in South Boston. If you
use Mapquest or some other tool use 1 M Street, South Boston MA 02127
for the address.
Driving:
From South
93 North Exit 15 Edward Evertt Square.
Turn right at the end of the ramp. onto Columbia Rd.
Go across the roundabout (2nd exit by State police barracks)
Drive along the water & beach, turn Left on “L” Street.
Turn Right on Broadway and Left on M Street. Park is at the end of the
street.
From North
93 South Take EXIT 20B-A toward I-90 WEST / MASS PIKE / S. STATION.
Take EXIT 20A toward S. STATION.
Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto PURCHASE ST / JOHN F FITZGERALD SURFACE RD.
Turn LEFT onto SUMMER ST. Drive 1.5 miles.
Turn LEFT onto E 1ST ST. After 1 block the field will be on your right
From West of the city.
Mass Pike (90) EAST in direction of Boston, Take EXIT 25 toward S. BOSTON.
Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp.
Take a Right on Congress Street.
Turn RIGHT onto D ST.
Turn LEFT onto SUMMER ST. about .7 mile
Turn LEFT onto E 1ST ST.
Public transportation
(go to www.mbta.com for times):
Train: Take RED
line outbound to Broadway station. Its about a 6 block walk from the
T station or you can take the bus to the corner of Broadway & Summer
Street.
THE BAR!
Field -to-Sponsor Bar "The Seapoint" on East 8th St.
From field take East 1st Street, and take your first left onto Summer
Street.
Cross Broadway. Summer Street becomes L Street.
Right onto East 8th street. Go 4-5 blocks you will see the restaurant
& bar on the left.
**PLEASE go to the
Seapoint Bar after games at Southie, the owner helped pay for the field
as a sponsorship for the league and in return we need to go to that
bar for food, drinks and games of pool after the games. Thanks, it is
a really cool place!
