Directions
to Memorial Park in Medford (Sundays):
The field, Memorial
Park, is just outside of Medford Sq. on the corner of Winthrop St (Rt
38) and Mystic Valley Parkway (Rt 16). Enter this intersection "Winthrop
St. and Mystic Valley Parkway" into mapquest.com to get directions
from your home or office.
Driving:
On
93 take exit 32 for Route 60 West and follow Rt 60 thru Medford Square,
at small rotary go all the way around and exit onto Winthrop St.
Follow to lights and cross Mystic Valley Pkwy. Field is on your
right, park on either side of the street or on side streets beyond park.
From West of Medford:
Get to Route 16 East and follow until intersection of Winthrop St. Field
is on your right.
Public Transportation:
Take the Orange line to Wellington then take bus 134, which goes right
through Medford Square. For maps, schedules or information, please see
http://www.mbta.com/schedmaps.

to Filippello Park in Watertown (Sundays):
109 Arlington St., Watertown.
Access this park from Arlington Street or Grove Street. Restrooms are
available on weekends!
Driving:
From
Route 128:
Take Exit 29A /Rt. 2E, follow to end, bear right onto Rt. 16W/Fresh
Pond Pkwy. Follow past Fresh Pond Mall & water treatment plant (you
will go thru 2 rotaries). At next set of lights turn right on Huron
Ave, stay on Rt. 16W Continue on Rt. 16W by turning left onto Aberdeen
& then right onto Mt Auburn St. At Arlington St turn left &
stay left at fork onto Grove St. Follow for almost .5 miles & turn
right in Filipello Park.
From Storrow Drive:
Follow towards Newton. Look for the Brighton Center/Watertown exit on
your right. Take exit & turn right onto Arsenal St. Cross Charles
River & immediately turn right onto Greenough Blvd, take 1st left
onto Grove St, follow up hill and across Coolidge Ave. Entrance to Park
is on left.
From Mass Pike:
Take Cambridge/Allston exit. Follow the Brighton sign. At 3rd set of
lights take right onto Lincoln St. Follow to end. At lights take right
onto Birmingham Pkwy. At 2nd set of lights, turn left onto Arsenal St
- see above.
Directions
to Daisy Field in Jamaica Plain (Tues, Wed )
Driving:
Take Jamaicaway south over Rt. 9 and past small (Leverett)
pond. At next light, make a right onto Willow Pond Rd. and park in small
parking lot or along road. Coming north along Jway, look for Bynner
St. on right (next intersection after Perkins St.), and make left on
to Willow Pond Rd. at light.
Taking the
Bus or T:
Bus: (5 min. walk) Take #39 bus out of Copley Sq. towards Forest Hills.
#39 stops at corner of S. Huntington and Bynner St. Follow Bynner St.
0.1 miles west to Jamaicaway; Olmstedt Park/Daisy field is at intersection
with Willow Pond Rd. McLaughlin Field in JP is accessible from the #39
bus. Take the orange line to either Forest Hills or Back Bay stations,
whichever is closest to you. If coming from downtown, take the Green
E line, get off at Brigham Circle and hop on the 39 across the street.
Go to www.mbta.com for bus schedule.
T: (15 min. walk) Take E Green Line to last stop, Heath St. From stop
continue south along S. Huntingdon St. 0.3 miles to Bynner St. Make
a right on Bynner St. and continue 0.1 miles. Olmstedt Park/Daisy field
is at intersection of Jamaicaway with Willow Pond Rd.

to Kelly Field in Hyde Park (Thursdays )
25 Turtle Pond Parkway,
Hyde Park - Intersection of Turtle Pond Parkway and River Street in
Hyde Park
Driving: From Boston:
* Take Huntington Avenue away from Boston to the Jamaica Way
* Follow the Jamaica Way until it turns into the Arborway
* Continue to follow signs for Route 203 East
* Go through Mattapan toward Hyde Park. You will eventually come to
a Mobile Station on your right at Blue Hills Ave (Rt 28, but no signs).
Turn Right.
* Go 1.1 miles and Turn Right onto River Street (the sign for River
Street is actually on the other side of the street, so keep a good eye
open)
* After a while, River Street appears to end, turn right (but it will
still be River Street)
* At the Intersection of Turtle Pond Parkway turn right
* Parking lot for field will be on right
Driving:
From Route 93:
*exit Granite Ave.
to Lower Mills in Dorchester.
* 2nd set of lights is Gallivan
Blvd
* Take a left on Gallivan
Blvd. Up to Washington St., take a left.
*Down to the end of the street,
take a right on River St.
*Follow River St. all the
way to the park, passing through Mattapan Sq. and Cleary Sq. in Hyde
Park. It's about a mile out of Cleary Sq. on the right. Look for the
light towers. You take a quick right onto Turtle Pond Pkwy into the
parking lot on the right.
Driving: From Route 95/Route 128:
* Take Exit 14 to East Street/DEDHAM (follow signs at the rotary after
getting off the highway)
* Follow East Street 0.8 miles, and the street will come to a triangle.
* Bear left at triangle, remaining on East Street. Continue on East
Street another 0.5 miles.
* Turn Right onto Sanderson Ave and go 1.4 miles
* Sanderson turns into River Street
* Follow River Street (River will bear 90 degrees to the left)
* Continue on River St. another 100 yards and turn Left on Turtle Pond
Parkway
* Parking lot for Kelly Field is immediately on your right.
Taking the
Bus or T: T - Orange Line to Forest Hills, take bus #32
to Cleary Sq. You can walk up River St. to the park. I'm not aware if
a bus goes up River St. towards Dedham & Readville.
Directions to Ebersol
Fields, Charlesbank Park, Boston (Weds) -
best to take public transportation if you can.
Teddy Ebersol’s
Red Sox Fields are located on Storrow Drive in Boston. It
is between Leverett Circle and the Hatch Shell, across from Mass Eye
& Ear. Use address "500 Embankment Road, Boston, MA" in
Google Maps for an approximate location (Yahoo Maps will give you an
incorrect location). Please use public transportation if possible as
parking is extremely limited.
Parking:
There are several options for Parking. 1) From Leverett Connector heading
WEST on Storrow drive there is a small parking lot (just before field).
This Lot holds 20 cars, if no spaces wait 5-10 minutes. 2) BEFORE you
come to the above lot there is also an option to park at the State Police
Station (Go as far to the back & left - behind the buildings) and
walk to the field. 3) Another option is the Mass Eye & Ear lot that
is between East & Westbound storrow drive, you enter this lot as
a left exit on Westbound and Government center exit from Eastbound (visit
Mass Eye & ear parking for more details)
By public
transportation:
MBTA Green Line to Science Park station. Cross street and walk to the
left along Storrow Drive with the river to your right. Fields are on
right.
MBTA Red Line to MGH/Charles Street station. Cross footbridge over Storrow
Drive toward river. At end of bridge, walk with river on your left.
Fields are approximately 50 yards from footbridge.
Directions to Carter
Park in Chelsea (Thursdays, Fall)
The field is at the corner of Carter St and Orange St right behind Chelsea
High School. Mapquest the field address is 200 Orange St, Chelsea. It
is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Boston with light traffic,
longer with heavier traffic. Chelsea High School is located at 299 Everett
Ave. Visitors may park in the lot on Carter Street. The softball field
is behind the high school and there is a large parking lot right at
the gates to the field.
Walking Directions from Chelsea Commuter Rail:
* Walking to Chelsea High from the rail takes approx. 10mins. .
* Walk North on 6th Street until Spruce Street.
* Turn left on Spruce Street until Beech Street.
* Turn Right on Beech Street and follow it to the end.
* Make Left on Carter Street and you will see Chelsea High on your right.Bus
Directions from Chelsea Commuter Rail:
* Walk approx. 1 block SE on 6th Street.
* Turn right on Washington Ave.
* Walk a short distance S on Washington Ave.
* Bus Service 112 Wellington Admirals Hill Soldiers Home
* Depart from Washington Ave & Chestnut St
* Arrive at Everett Ave & Carter St
Driving Directions from Boston - Take 93 North to Exit 27 on the left
(Rt 1 North towards Tobin Bridge/Revere). Take the exit on the right
towad East Boston/Chelsea Waterfront. Merge onto Chestnut St. Turn left
at 3rd Street. Take a right onto Everett Ave, then take a right onto
Carter St. The parking lot is under the overpass on Carter St I think
just before you hit Orange St.
Directions to Charlestown
High School turf field in Charlestown (makeups during Fall)
The field is at
the corner 240 Medford Street, Charlestown. From Sullivan Square, past
fire station, take left down Medford Street, follow until you get to
the high school. Parking is behind the gym on the left side of the school.
Driving Directions
from Boston - Take 93 South to Sullivan Square exit. At bottom of ramp,
stay straight until lights.
At lights, enter rotary amd exit at second exit (Shraffts Center will
be on your left).
When you come to first intersection, turn Left onto Medford Street.
Follow Medford Street approximately 1⁄2 mile.
You'll see the Charlestown High School on your right and the field will
be across the street on the left.
From Mass Pike and 93 North: Take Mass Pike East to 93 North. Take 93
North to Exit 25
At bottom of ramp, turn right.
At first set of lights, turn Left over the bridge.
At end of bridge, bear Right onto Constitution/Chelsea Road.
Go straight approximately 3⁄4 mile (through two lights)
Turn Left onto Medford Street (before third light).
Go straight approximately 3⁄4 mile.
You'll see the bleacher seats on your right, that's the field, if you
see Charlestown High School on your left then you've actually gone a
little too far.
