Address: 75 R New Dudley St, Roxbury, 02119. (Also known as Malcolm X Boulevard.) Field is behind Madison Park High School and the Dudley Post Office. This place is near Northeastern University and the field is behind the Reggie Lewis Sports Arena.
Driving:
From downtown Boston: take Tremont St to the intersection at 1400 Tremont St/Columbus Ave and you will see the Roxbury Crossing T station in front of you. Turn onto Ruggles (across from the Police HQ) and the field is on your right, top of the hill, park on the street.
Or, take Washington St from downtown all the way. Just past the intersection at 2400 Washington St take a right onto Ruggles (across from the Police HQ) and the field is on your right, top of the hill, park on the street.
From Rt 9: to Huntington Ave and turn onto Ruggles St. Turn onto Ruggles (across from the Police HQ) and the field is on your right, top of the hill, park on the street.
From Rt 28 : take Rt 28 (Columbus Ave) to Ruggles St (across from the Police HQ) and the field is on your right, top of the hill, park on the street.
From JP: Take Centre St to Columbus Ave, take a left onto Columbus Ave then a right onto Ruggles.
Public Transportation: Take the Orange Line to Roxbury Crossing at the corner of Tremont and Malcolm X Blvd (just one stop past Ruggles), walk down Malcolm X Blvd - also known as new Dudley St, to the Madison Park High School on your left. Field is in back of the school. Or take Orange line to Ruggles and walk down Ruggles St across from the Police HQ, the field will be on your right at the top of the hill.
Bus: Bus Route 22; Ashmont Sta.-Ruggles Sta. Via Talbot Ave. or Route 66; Harvard Sq.-Dudley Sta. Via Harvard St.
Bring your own water/sports drinks and please clean up after yourselves. You can wear outdoor cleats or turf shoes.
Driving:
By Car from the West: Take Route 2 East, after passing Exit 60, you will come to a fork in the road. Take the right, continuing on Route 2 East (as well as Route 3 South and Route 16 West!) The Alewife MBTA Station will be on your right. Go through the next two quick stop lights, and go over the railroad bridge. You will see the Fresh Pond Mall on your left. At your next light, take a right. This road will cloverleaf under the bridge and into the parking lot of the mall. Drive behind the plaza on the left side (by Staples) and Danehy Park will be behind it. Park in the parking lot and walk up the main path to the top of the hill. We play at Field #3, the grass field next to the turf field.
By Car from the East: Take Storrow Drive from Boston/I-93.
At the end of Storrow Drive, follow the signs for Arlington and Route 2 West
(this will be Fresh Pond Parkway). Go through several stop lights until you
come to a traffic circle/rotary. Turn off the rotary just to the left of Sozio's
onto New Street. Take New Street to the end and the parking lot of Danehy Park
will be on your right. Walk up the main path to the top of the hill. We play
at Field #3, the grass field next to the turf field.
Public Transportation: Take the MBTA Red Line to the end at Alewife Station. Come out of the station and walk past the Aku-Aku Restaurant and over the railroad bridge. Turn left into the parking lot of the Fresh Pond Mall. Walk around the left side next to Staples, and Danehy Park will be behind the mall. Walk up the main path to the top of the hill. Also can take the # 74 or # 78 bus from Harvard Square; or the # 83 bus from Central Square.

By Car from
the North or South:
From North or South take Rt. 95 to exit 16A EAST, local Rt. 109 EAST.
Travel about 2.3 miles to the intersection of Rt. 109 and VFW Parkway. Landmark
is the Irish Ale House on the right
and the sign "Entering Boston" on the left. Diagonally across the
intersection is the West Roxbury VA Medical Center.
Turn left onto VFW Parkway. At the second set of lights ( about one block )
turn left onto Charles Park Rd.
Landmark is the Spring Blossom restaurant.
The sign for the entrance into Millennium Park will be on your left.
After the turn continue straight to a stop sign. (Home Depot on the right).
You will see the park straight in front of you.
Public Transportation:
Bus: Bus Route 36; Stop is Rivermoor St @ Charles Park Rd. Rivermoor Industrial Park via V.A. Hospital; Forest Hills Station via Belgrade Ave.
The park has a huge
parking lot so there’s always plenty of room. Picnicking is allowed, and
dogs are allowed if kept on-leash. Many people ignore this rule, but it’s
a $200 fine if you are caught.
The park also features a tot-lot and on particularly warm days the city opens
a concession stand that sells ice cream, cold drinks, and snacks.
